Liverpool vs Arsenal: prediction, team news, lineups
Match preview
In-form Liverpool host Arsenal in Sunday's only top-flight game. Andoni Iraola's side have won four of their last five in all competitions, and the fifth was Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Chelsea, which they won 6-5 on penalties to reach the EFL Cup quarter-finals. Their last defeat was a 3-0 home loss to Manchester City on October 11. Mikel Arteta's side come in after a shock EFL Cup exit at League One Fleetwood Town, who won 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. In the league they've won three in a row, most recently 2-0 at home to Everton, and they sit near the top of the table, with Liverpool also in the top half. Arteta and Iraola were teammates in their younger days, and Arteta said Arsenal hadn't won at Anfield in 14 years, so "it's time to do it."
