Midweek Europe, weekend picks: how much do you factor in rotation?

With European games most midweeks, I keep second-guessing weekend picks on teams that played on Tuesday or Wednesday. Sometimes the changes barely matter, and sometimes a side looks half asleep. Do you wait for the team news before picking, or do you factor rotation in early?
