Do you write down why you made a pick before kickoff?

I've started keeping a short note on every pick before the game, just a line or two on why I like it. Looking back after the weekend, it's been eye-opening how often I was right for the wrong reasons, or wrong with a decent reason. Does anyone else keep a record like that, or do you just look at the results?
